With winter fast approaching, we’ve focused on 100% wool fabric sourced from Scotland, a place where there are just two seasons: June and Winter.
If the Scots embrace it, you know this 11oz. fabric will make up into a very warm blazer. The Scots are famed for their reticence and quiet wit, which we think shines through in this example of highland craftsmanship.
The subtle grey ground has depth and character. The amber plaid adds a brighter twist without sacrificing versatility.
In fact, we recommend making it up with patch pockets so that it’s even more functional than a regular blazer – more space to put keys, phone, wallet, etc.
For work, pair the blazer with a dress shirt and tan, olive or brown pants. You’ll look great during the business day and later at the bar. When it gets colder, you can layer a sweater underneath without sacrificing your style.
Pair with dark denim jeans and a solid shirt for a night out when you want to look just a bit better put together than your friends.
