Wedding season is in full swing, and as more men are opting for bow ties rather than the traditional tie, we at CMMP would like to share a few tips and tricks on mastering the perfect bow tie.
No Proper man should ever posses a pre-tied bow tie, as they make you look like a Proper poser.
A bow tie is meant to be slightly asymmetrical. Too perfect, and it may look like a clip-on.
The width of your bow tie should be aligned to that of your face. Too small, and you resemble a boy dressed up at his first birthday party. Too big, and you resemble the clown at that boy’s first birthday party.
Choose a bow tie that reflects your personal style.
Save solid black or white bow ties for formal occasions only.
For a more casual look, colored and printed bow ties work best.
