At CMMP we’re known for custom hand-tailored apparel. But our real mission is making our clients look sharp – all day, every day.
So you might wonder how the “Race of Gentlemen,” where we shot a campaign a few years ago, inspired us. Since 1947, classic cars and motorcycles including Indians, Harley Davidsons, Excelciors and Fords have raced in Wildwood NJ. They’re recreating bygone days. Times when men and machines got proven – and beaten – on hard-packed beaches, the safest straightaway of the day.
It’s a dashing and dirty day – not the place for custom clothes.
Racers needed trusted and true cars and clothing on their hunt for glory. They turned to versatile jackets in fabrics that wore proudly, got banged up repeatedly and still aged gracefully.
Their style inspired our “Dash” jackets. We’ve combined a comfortable tailored fit with useful details: slash pockets for your hands and stash pockets for your phones, keys, etc. We’ve sourced durable American-grown cotton and are hand-stitching them in Philadelphia.
