Men, it’s 90/10 odds that your shirts don’t fit.
It can go one of two ways: too tight or too loose.
But how tight is too tight?
No matter how buff you are, gaps between your buttons when you move = bad.
And if you are out of shape, splayed shirt buttons do nothing but illustrate the fact.
Indeed, the telltale sign that a shirt’s too tight is horizontal lines on the body.
GQ inadvertently illustrates this on Taylor Lautner above.
Not a good look.
The real goal of any shirt should be to define one’s silhouette, and give enough room for comfortable movement while remaining tapered.
It’s by no means an easy balance.
