This is Vicuña. $800-$2500 per yard.
Vicuñas are alpaca-like animals only found in the mountains of Peru. Their wool is super fine.
It is expensive because the animal can only be shorn every three years, and has to be caught from the wild.
The Inca valued vicuñas highly for their wool, and it was against the law for anyone but royalty to wear vicuña garments.
Best made into a blazer or topcoat.
